Motorcycle M1A “Moscow” is the first motorcycle, which was produced at the Minsk Motorcycle and Bicycle Plant (MMVZ).
The production of this single-seater was started in 1951, the German motorcycle “DKW RT 125” is at the heart of the motorcycle, according to its drawings this legendary motorcycle was created. Thanks to the extraordinary landing of the driver on a motorcycle, the people gained the nickname “macaque”.
A very interesting feature of the motorcycle M1A “Moscow” is the unsprung rear wheel and front fork with spring-type shock absorbers.
They made motorcycles for about five years, and the last motorcycle M1A left the factory in 1956, in connection with the release of the new model M1M.
The motorcycle proved to be excellent, having managed to show its reliability and ease of use, as well as its maneuverability on various roads.
